Long Time No See
Wow, it has been a while since we have said anything here, huh? I was just taking the time to look over the blog this morning and I noticed that all of our actual "Newsletters" that we posted here were from 2019. That seems like such a long time ago. We have not posted on this blog since April of 2020. That means it has been almost a year since this blog has been regularly used.
Many of our viewers, like you, probably like that we just forgot about it, right? Like we got so busy in our regular lives that we forgot to make time to blog. Or, we were so busy in our Bible Study that we forgot we had a blog, so while there was so much that was content-worthy, there was nothing that we posted because we can't post on something we do not know exists. Sadly, neither of those are true. But, the first is the closest.
About this time last year, our group was going through some things emotionally, but once we got that all under control life got chaotic. The irony of this situation was that God had it all worked out that the chaos in the world lined up with the personal chaos that all of the members of TEAM were going through. Members like Jake had already been busily involved in the church and all of the church functions that he got to participate in and led in. Then, others like me (Mary) got busy with preparing for graduation and moving out of the house to college. Still, others were going through personal mental struggles. In fact, my family- so both Mandy and I- began the mental battle of discovering a close family member has Type 1 Diabetes. So, we had to learn how to care for this person and how the change in energy and food choices affects our life as well.
I just wanted to pop on here and let you know that we are not dead and we are still growing. While we are each going through personal struggles and life events, this does not mean that we are not still learning something new every day. This does not mean that we are not growing in our relationship with Christ. This does not mean that there is nothing more we can share with you. In fact, if the Lord wills it, I want to get the group of us who were writing here to create more articles throughout 2021 and on. I want to show that a dead blog can still be revived. I want to not let go of the passion for writing and blogging that I have. I want to share so much that I have learned with you.
So, I would like to re-invite you to check out this blog as we (or me if it comes down to it) continue sharing about what we have been learning and what we have been growing in. I hope you come back soon!

(P.S. If none of my friends are going to continue writing on this blog, I will probably focus on my personal blog that I started about the same time that all of this chaos began. So, I have been writing this whole time, but just not on this blog. My posts have not been regular yet either, and I have gone a few months without writing anything there as well. But, there are still posts for you to read if you are interested: growingnwalking.blogspot.com).
